WELCOME TO THE SEASON 2025

We hope everyone has wintered well and that you were able to escape to some far off destination with great temperatures to continue to develop your golf skills to the fullest.

As many of you know already, the course has wintered well and conditions are the best we have seen in years. Comments back are very positive with many stating that we are in mid season condition. The golf has been great so far and we are achieving rounds times of 4 to 4.5 hours even when the course is fully booked. Hopefully these times will get even better as we progress into the summer and everyone’s golf game improves.

The course improvements still keep happening, in the fall we installed approximately 7500 sq. ft. of tee boxes on Hole 3 (blue), Holes 8, 11, 13,14, 15, 17 and 18 (white). These new and expanded tee boxes will help us maintain the course appearance and give players smoother well manicured surfaces to play from. We still are not finished but this, we hope, will be a major improvement. We also have prepped to expand white tee boxes on Holes 1, 4 and 7 as well as the forward (purple) tees on holes 1 and 2 and 16.

The irrigation system has been modified and is now up and running. We hope the improvements made will make it possible to manage the water and provide even better conditions whenever you choose Edmonton Springs.

In the fall we started to fix the problems with the driving range. You will notice the change when you first pull into the parking area. The access to the driving range will be moved to the end of the parking lot on the right side and the new driving range tee area will be visible from the parking lot. You can now watch your ball fly 340 yards before finding any obstructions. The range area is open and clear and we will install a few sand greens with distance flags so you can practice all that great target golf that you all perform so well at. After we get the new practice tee box open we will then add a sand bunker and chipping green to the south, (where the current tee box is). This will make your practice complete and hopefully create a Canadian Champion. We expect everything completed on the range by July 1.
